The Education Justice Project is a college-in-prison program offered by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I was fortunate to be part of the design team, meeting weekly for a year before budget cuts brought the program's design work to an end. My work ranged from social media content to print materials, and it taught me how to design within the standards and constraints of an existing brand. Of all my positions, this is the one I'm most grateful for, since it shaped how I think about designing responsibly within someone else's established identity.
